All five branches of the United States military use the Black Hawk so this package includes the Coast Guard (Jay Hawk), Air Force (Pave Hawk & Night Hawk) and Navy (Sea Hawk) versions.
The Black Hawk is one of the most versatile series of helicopters ever engineered for warfare scenarios. Originally developed to replace the UH-1 Iroquois in 1972 for the US Army, the Black Hawk can perform a wide array of missions including tactical support of troops, electronic warfare and aero medical evacuation. Several VH-60N Black Hawks, known as Marine One, are used to transport the President of the United States. During air assault operations, the Black Hawk can move a squad of 11 combat troops with equipment or carry 2,600 lb of cargo or sling a 9,000 lb load of cargo. The Black Hawk is also equipped with advanced avionics and electronics for increased survivability and capability.
