The LMS Tank Engines

This add-on pack for Microsoft Train Simulator includes 11 engines with cabs and sounds plus three activities for the Settle & Carlisle route.

In addition if you have installed the Stapleford Vale route, which comes with London Midland & Scottish (available to purchase from our website www.firstclass-simulations.com), you can install an additional two activities for Stapleford Vale and a further three for Settle & Carlisle.

There are two classes of LMS Tank design represented:

LMS Fowler Class 3F
The London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Fowler 3F 0-6-0T is a class of steam locomotive, often known as JINTY. They represent the ultimate development of the Midland Railway's six-coupled tank engines.

LMS Fowler Dock Tank
The London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Fowler Dock Tank was a 0-6-0T steam locomotive. Designed for shunting in docks, it had a short wheelbase in order for it to negotiate curves. 10 were built in 1928 by Derby Works to a design by Henry Fowler and they incorporated outside cylinders.
